January 3rd: Kenya dig it?

The title is a tacky play on words (I know), but we are headed to Nairobi, Kenya tomorrow to work in a small community called Naro Maru at the base of Mt. Kenya where we will be helping build a water tank and install underground water lines for the community.

DWC Volunteer Experience: Kenya

This blog is dedicated to Developing World Connections groups that have travelled to Maai Mahiu, Kenya or Naro Moru, Kenya.

In collaboration with our host partner, UBUNTU (formerly Comfort the Children), participants contribute to educational opportunities as a sustainable way to reduce poverty by building schools, libraries and community infrastructure.

Volunteers can also choose to work with our host partner, ACCESS, and work on sustainable efforts of reforestation, planting, building water tanks, laying water pipes and irrigation systems.
